By keyword

Type "R905.2.7" — go directly to the verbatim text for that section in the adopted edition for the property.
By topic
Type "drip edge" — every section across roofing, siding, and flashing that addresses drip edge requirements.
By address
Search within the adopted code for one specific property. Surfaces the parcel-specific overlays + amendments inline.
What's indexed
Every adopted edition for the United States — IRC, IBC, IECC, IPC, IFC plus the state-amended versions (FBC, CBC, NCSBC, etc.) and county and municipal amendments. The full text of every section is searchable with the amendment layer applied per jurisdiction.
Search results show: the adopted edition the result came from, the section number, the verbatim text, an amendment-applied indicator, and a source link to the official version. A copy-citation button copies a properly-formatted reference for use in a scope of work.
For multi-jurisdiction work, filter by state, county, or specific edition. For storm-related re-roofs, filter by topic — flashing, fastening, ventilation — across the adopted code only.
